Rotary Club of Roosevelt renews its commitment to education with the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement and the turnover of Brigada Eskwela donations to its adopted schools.
The Rotary Club of Roosevelt officially kicked off Rotary Year 2026–2027 with a meaningful morning dedicated to education, partnership, and community service.
Led by Incoming President Mhey Aldovino, club members joined Principal Romelita Tumaneng and the faculty of Eugenio Lopez Jr. Center for Media Arts Senior High School for the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), reaffirming the club’s commitment to supporting the school as one of its adopted partners. The ceremony was followed by the turnover of Brigada Eskwela donations to help prepare the campus for another productive school year.
The club also visited Apolinario Samson Elementary School, its second adopted school, where members continued to strengthen relationships with school leaders and reaffirm Rotary’s commitment to supporting quality education through meaningful partnerships.
Brigada Eskwela is more than preparing classrooms for the opening of classes. It is a nationwide movement that brings together schools, volunteers, local government, and community organizations to create safe, clean, and welcoming learning environments for students. Through this initiative, the Rotary Club of Roosevelt proudly contributes to a shared mission of ensuring that every child has a better place to learn and grow.
The Memorandum of Agreement further strengthens the collaboration between the club and its adopted schools, providing a foundation for future projects that support students, teachers, and the broader school community. By working closely with school administrators and educators, Rotary aims to develop sustainable programs that create lasting value beyond a single activity.
