The Rotary Club of Roosevelt reaffirmed its commitment to education by supporting Apolonio Samson Elementary School in Quezon City during Brigada Eskwela, DepEd’s nationwide school readiness initiative. This annual participation reflects our long-term dedication to Basic Education and Literacy, especially as the Philippines faces declining student literacy levels. Our members provided books, school supplies, and essential learning materials, and also volunteered on-site to help prepare classrooms and learning spaces. By equipping teachers and supporting students and families, we aim to strengthen the school community and empower young learners to thrive in the new school year. Through sustained involvement and hands-on service, the Rotary Club of Roosevelt continues to help build a brighter future for the children of Quezon City—one classroom, and one student, at a time.
