This project supports Rotary’s Area of Focus on Maternal and Child Health by providing free healthcare and education to families in Barangay Sta. Lucia, Angat. The Rotary Club of Roosevelt, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Angat, organized a one-day medical mission offering prenatal and pediatric consultations, nutrition counseling, and essential medicines. A team of OB-Gyne specialists, pediatricians, and general physicians attended to 216 beneficiaries, including 49 children and 76 adults, many of them mothers. The club also donated maternal and child health (MCH) supplies, including prescribed medicines and nutritional supplements, to extend care beyond the event. Families received guidance on prenatal health, breastfeeding, and immunization, empowering mothers to make informed health decisions. The event concluded with a Memorandum of Agreement to sustain maternal and child health programs in the community.
