The Rotary Club of Roosevelt proudly leads the Maleta Library initiative, a mobile library designed to spark a love for reading among children in Gawad Kalinga communities. In partnership with cxperts, a BPO company, and Gawad Kalinga, the club donated 100 grade school books and launched the first Maleta Library in GK San Rose, Pasig. The event also featured food, refreshments, and fun games to cheer up the kids and make the day more memorable. Despite the typhoon, the team pressed on, proving that service and compassion can shine through any storm. As the Maleta Library travels to other GK communities, it is expected to benefit approximately 1,500 to 2,000 children, creating a lasting impact through the power of literacy.
